I wish I could give a 5. The game is awesomely spooky. The story is good, the graphics are terrific, object use is creative but not too stupid. It is actually spooky enough that I do not recommend it for younger kids! However... There are some problems. The worst is the annoying qualities of the HOS. You have to be in a good mood to do them, because it is like they made the picture, and then added the objects, which is just fine- but without checking to see if there are also other objects answerable to that name. Don't tell me these three wine bottles aren't a bottle, but this wicker covered jug is. Next problem, there is a lot of trouble with the back arrows. There are places you simply go nuts trying to click to go back and keep opening the wrong stupid window. The last thing is a glitch- right near the end, I need a piece of stained glass which I had but it is no longer in my inventory. I can't finish the game. But I couldn't rate the game down just for that. It doesn't happen to everyone. Anyway I totally recommend it.
Has potential...but SKIP for now
I love BF games. Love them. It's hard for me to be critical of them because they usually have great graphics and story lines. This one was no exception, except it had some huge glitches with it. Delayed speech when people were talking, HUGE pauses while the game loaded pages, loading and reloading images when not touching an object...these were just too much for me to recommend the game. And I ALWAYS recommend BF games. BF, the quality is just not there on this game. Please fix this on future games so the people who don't complain about the $7 price tag don't START complaining. Again, it was a good game, albeit seemingly shorter than what I usually get with BF games, but not the quality I'm used to. G5 may start getting a little more business from me.
Won't unlock after paying $6.99!!!
I enjoyed the free version of this game. So even though I thought $6.99 was a bit steep, I went ahead and purchased it. I lost all my progress immediately. I was disappointed but figured at least it wouldn't take too long to play through the beginning a second time. But I got to the end of the free trial part and again it kicked me back to the main menu and asked me to purchase the full version again. I tried deleting and reinstalling the game and still am having the same problem. I tried contacting tech support and the app crashed when I tried to attach a pic of my receipt.
Seems like a fun game and looking at other reviews it seems only a few are having this problem, but be warned it does exist and so far I have been unable to get any tech support.
