I instantly regret not looking at the author's website prior to purchasing the app. The app description makes you think this guy is the next Ansel Adams, but truthfully Pugsley Adams might be a better comparator. My favorite photos from his website are titled "Potty Room," followed by "Potty Room Ceiling." I was in trouble when the opening text advises you to just leave the camera set to low quality JPEG, because that's just as good of a quality image as a RAW file, or that capturing RAW images will only fit two or three photos on a SD card. It's also clear that the author doesn't even really have experience with the camera, and instead, has decided to charge for recapitulation of the free public user manual combined with his own personal (aka questionable) advice. Download the free manual app from Nikon, and spare yourself the agony.

Great Guide!!

I have always enjoyed your reviews on Nikon cameras. Before any purchase I make, you are my go to guy to help me with my decision!! Throughly enjoyed this quick and easy guide for the D3300. I especially enjoyed reading your personal insights and appreciate you sharing the settings you use to get beautiful and bright color photos. I found my self laughing at some of your quips! I am just a little bit more advanced than a beginner photographer, but still a work in progress!! Thanks again!!

Thank you!

I haven't used the app yet but if it's anywhere near as helpful as your website then I know I'll love it. I just got my camera (Nikon D3300) and followed your tips and OMG, so helpful and easy. Thought having your expertise quickly would be even better! That's why I bought the app. Thanks again!
