Learning keys and the circle of fifths is hard! Students in the Digital Design program at the University of Colorado Denver were challenged to create a game that would teach this concept through game play. The result is a challenging, trippy music-based fly-through experience. Shoot your way through the keys and recognize the correct notes for each key. Programming and design by - Ethan Zink, Miki Hansen, Seth Chaps and Will Justice.
It does work but not on my iphone
I downloaded this for my iPad after getting frustrated trying to use it with the phone. On the iPad you can see additional settings including different options for the controls. I changed those up a little and was able to 'blast' through the key signatures. Not a bad app but the lack of functionality on the phone is no good as well as the lack of instructions.
This game looks cool, but though I am very familiar with keys, etc. I could not discover anything about how the game works. i'll give it 3 stars for looking cool and being free and I'll challenge other users to be smarter than me and figure out how it works.
I don't get it.
I cannot figure out how this app works. Maybe if there were instructions or something. I thought this might be good for my students, but I am clueless. Please help.
