Too much time to update current balance transactions
This app is full of bugs and there needs to be lot of updates that should be done for this. It's been 2 years that I am using this app (used to have around 3 star rating when I downloaded) and I am still not sure why key bank aren't making some basic updates (such as the transactions to get posted within 24 hours, email/text alerts etc) for this. Usually transactions done on Friday will take until next Tuesday to get posted and any ATM withdrawals wouldn't be alerted (either email/text) at all until next business day. The app now has around 1n half star rating, and I am still reluctant to give a single star for this.
Basic and lacking TouchID
First and major complaint: TouchID. Every banking app should have TouchID implemented at this point. It makes managing things so much easier on the phone. Please, if nothing else, get TouchID working.
Overall, this is a very basic banking app. It's annoying that most things need to be set up on the desktop site first before being able to be done in the app (adding Billpay payees, adding transfer accounts, etc). The fact this can all be done by going to the desktop site in Safari on the iPhone just speaks to how basic this app is - you don't even need a desktop computer, just Safari to do what needs to be done.
It's good for what it's capable of doing, it just isn't capable of doing much.
At least KeyBank HAS an app, though. So you get 1 star for having an app, and 1 star for the few features in it, working well.
I love this app
I love this App, I use it daily. Everything from checking my balance, to paying that last minute bill I almost forgot to pay (oops) to depositing a check that o received. The only feedback I have is for iPhone users to use their Touch ID to get into the app, besides the password. It would make it much more efficient and secure :)
