Spinning wheel of death
So first off the whole process of even getting signed up for this program is horrible. They cancelled it on me 3 times and took away discount. When I called they said the reason was because I hadn’t signed up. I responded that there was never an email or anything telling me how to sign up. So I had to download the app to have the sensors sent to me (great thanks for letting me know in advance). The sensors arrive relatively quick, within a week or so. Now I’m trying to log back in and hook up the sensors and the app is not doing anything! Tried logging in and the login button just turns grey. Tried using the create account option and it gives me the spinning wheel of death. Tried to change password and it also gives me the spinning wheel of death. The app is not functioning whatsoever and their support button just has you call the support phone number which is currently closed. Now how can it be so hard to log into an app that you have already signed up for? It is also doing it on my wife’s phone as I tried to pull up on there... get your app together liberty mutual. This may be the worst ran program I have ever seen. I wonder how many people just give it up and lose the discount or are scammed as they don’t know how to activate. Please make this process more streamlined and for goodness sakes..... SEND SOME MATERIAL ON HOW TO ACTIVATE THE PROGRAM before you go deactivating people’s discounts!
Whats behind the curtain?
Ok - yes the app is confusing to set up but once you get through that part it starts showing you savings. We have 5 cars and 5 drivers. Started off with about $200 for signing up. Then we tracked it every day. You really need to stop and start slow. It is ridiculous how sensitive these tags are. In all of our cars we have managed to figure out the right formula except the van we have. It seems like it is impossible to accelerate or brake slow enough for the van. I think it may be because the car is soft and leans back and forth that it mistakenly reads hard breaking and acceleration? But who knows? Maybe because we have liability only on that vehicle they do t want to lower it. Oh yeah. And they simply reduce savings for no reason. We were up to $614 and the next day they took off $200 from our 2 Mercedes that had only excellent driving recorded. They could not tell us why. No bad events happened. I think you should not expect to save more than about $100 per car. 25% is absolutely BS. They get to track you for 3 months and then give you what they feel fits their profit model. They won’t/can’t explain the tracking model. A clear indication of formulas they don’t want to discuss. You might be better off shopping your rates than going through this nonsense.
Worst Ever Experience
This is by far the worst ever experience for such a reputable company. I’m just flabbergasted by the lack of customer service and performance for this device and or developers. I’ve had this device for 124 days according to liberty mutual, and it’s never worked as described. I’ve had to call in 6 times or more because the device failed to connect. No exaggeration! Every time I called a customer service rep. assured me they would contact the IT and they would call me back. That never happened. You would think at least 1 call back out of at least the first 6, but NOPE. After each call my discount gets removed, and I get an email saying return the device or pay for it. The app never worked for me. It would never connect. In my frustration, I finally gave up on calling customer service reps for more lies. The kicker is how so unprofessional this company is they wait 124 days later to tell me my device has not been connected. LOL, you think!!! In all I’ve had this device for 7mths now. The program is only 3. What’s wrong with that picture. It still doesn’t work. I’m done. I came from nationwide and their program was flawless. If I could give no stars I would. I would not recommend this right track. However, liberty Mutual I am still a customer. SMH.
