Description

Khan Academy allows you to learn almost anything for free.

Our iOS app is the best way to view Khan Academy’s complete library of over 4,200 videos and articles.

We cover a massive number of topics, including K-12 math, science topics such as biology, chemistry, and physics, and even the humanities with playlists on art history, civics, and finance.

Spend an afternoon brushing up on statistics. Discover how the Krebs cycle works. Learn about the fundamentals of computer science. Prepare for the upcoming SAT. Or, if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, learn how fire stick farming changed the landscape of Australia.

Included in our iPhone and iPad apps:

- Watch all of our 4,200+ videos

- Read articles on topics from Art History to Coach & Classroom Resources

- Track your progress: Log in with your Khan Academy user account to get credit for watching videos, and see your achievements

- Downloadable videos: take individual videos or entire playlists to watch offline at your own pace

Also included in our iPad app:

- Subtitles: follow along, skip ahead, or go back by navigating through subtitles

It doesn't matter if you are a student, teacher, home-schooler, principal, adult returning to the classroom after 20 years, or a friendly alien just trying to get a leg up in earthly biology; Khan Academy's materials and resources are available to you completely free of charge.

What's New in Version 1.4

**
Hey guys--we broke something on our servers yesterday, so videos stopped playing :( Luckily, we fixed it pretty fast, but if you notice problems with videos playing, please quit + restart the app (with an internet connection!), wait a bit for new video info to finish downloading, then try again. It'll be better, we promise!

While you're waiting for the new video info to download, maybe read some articles? ;)
**

Did you know you could read art history, cryptography, coach resources, and more great articles on Khan Academy? Probably not, because until now you could only access them on our website! Welcome to the new world of *reading* on the Khan Academy app.

To celebrate this latest milestone, we’ve brought some gorgeous new colors to our app. Same simple navigation, just with a little spring in its step.

5 Star App!

Finally, something that can actually teach me, explain to me, and help work out the problems so I understand. As a 10th grader I give this app a 5 star rating. This app has taught me more about Geometry in an hour, than a semester 'n a half of my terrible, ignorant teacher teaching this to me. Schools are so overcrowded nowadays that it's very easy to get lost and fall behind in the shuffle, teachers never have time anymore to help students individually when they need 1 on 1 time for help. With this app I know I can pull through to help better my education in Geometry and now even more subjects that I can review on whenever I'd like! Thank you Khan Academy!

Block internet access

Hello, I love this app, I had a request, when the Internet is turned off for parental controls the Internet is still accessible through links in the privacy statement document or the disclaimer rights and privacy area. Is there any way to make those links inert when parental controls are on to block access to Internet, just how the email app or other apps don't allow access to links in their privacy documents? thank you for your time and all you do to provide this great app you guys

Pretty good

So after the update it wasn't working and the video icons where gone. After playing with it for a bit I figured out you just have to press and hold it to play it other than that seems to work okay. I don't download any of the videos so I can't comment. For any of you worried about updating just wait until a new update but if you do decide to update consider the other comments about issues downloading and from me just had a hard time playing the videos until I figured out how. iPhone 5c.
