Excellent videos, buggy and slow app
I love the videos and I am so grateful for them. I wouldn’t have a clue about limits in calculus if it weren’t for these videos because my professor can’t teach to save her life and the book we were assigned is awful, it doesn’t really explain anything. But these videos do. They show how to do problems instead of throwing definitions and formulas in your face. They really teach and I’m so thankful to the people who worked to put them together. The app, I’ve had a lot of issues with, though. It stops responding when trying to complete quizzes, certain things just won’t download, even with a 100% strength WiFi signal, ample space, and days of time. I also can’t view any progress details on my profile, though I can see a general summary. I think the app really needs work. The problem may be the servers, in part because it slows down when using the app, but I’ve had that same speed issue on my laptop with the website. I don’t have speed issues with other websites, so it’s not my connection. Maybe add an option to donate in the app? I’d be happy to support fixing things after how useful the videos have been. (You deserve the money a heck of a lot more than my calculus professor, as far as I’m concerned!)
Thank you to the hard workers who brought us khan academy for free!
I love this app! It’s hard to even express into words how much I love this app and how much I’m just obsessed with it. It’s unbelievable that ALL these videos and lessons on sooo many different topics are free. Sometimes I worry that it might all be snatched away from me so I’m like “I have to hurry and benefit from it quick before it’s no longer free or it’s removed or something.” Please don’t make us start paying for it or remove the materials on this app! I am a post high school graduate who didn’t finish high school so obviously there’s a lot of things from school that I don’t even remember learning or even if I do, I only memorized the stuff to pass the exams so it’s no use to me because I don’t have certainty of it. Now I have a daughter and I get so worried and embarrassed when I think about helping her with her school work one day and not knowing the material. Thank God for kham academy because now I can prepare and relearn all these courses for free with my busy schedule as a mom and wife with the short and informative videos. I can even use it to teach her since it seems to be for all ages.
