Kindle Review

So far I really love the app and it's very convenient because of the fact that you do not need an actual kindle to use the app and read the books in the library. For just that one perk I think the app is great. But I have found 1 flaw with using the app. . . When I come across a word that I'm not familiar with, the app gives me the option to look it up on the dictionary that is already on the app, google it, or copy it. The most convenient way would be to just use the dictionary it already has on there, but you have to download it within the application, which I do not have a problem with. What I do have a problem with is, after I download the dictionary from within the app it still does not work and makes you download it again. Even after downloading it several times it still does not show the word or the definition and description therefore leaving me no choice but to Google the word and find out the information that way. If this small problem could be fixed, I'd be glad to give 5 stars!

Kindle is the winner

When I finally started reading books on my mobile, I used both Kindle and its main competitor. The thing that initially made me vote for Kindle was the ability to lock the screen so that it wouldn't swing from vertical to horizontal. And I liked the fonts better. Now, I wouldn't use anything else.

I have no idea how many books I now have, on my device and/or stored in The Cloud. I wish I could transfer the ones I bought from the other dealer over to my main library. I also wish there was a was to easily see the titles in my library that I haven't actually read yet. I keep wishing for a 'virtual bookcase' -- guess my brain is still more at ease with that kind of visual grouping. These are things I've wanted to suggest for ages. But I love my Kindle app! I always have a book with me. Doctors offices, restaurants, I don't have to worry about having something to read while I'm waiting! Keep up the good work!

So convenient

I love the convenience of having all my books on my Kindle app. While at home, I read them on my iPad. However, if I'm away from home, like waiting in a doctor's office or on a car repair, I can still read my books on my iPhone. It even keeps up with the last page I read, so I don't have to search for my place each time. The only little thing I'd change is the bookmark function. I'm right handed, as the majority of the world is (but I love several left handers, so don't hate). My natural hold on my phone or iPad mini, is with my right hand. So I unintentionally bookmark pages all the time. All you have to do is move it to the left an inch, and the problem is solved. :) Oh! One more thing, I like to read with the black background and white font. That way, I can read in bed, without keeping my husband awake with the the bright light. Plus, I just like how it looks.
