Love the reading features but lacks ability to organize easily
I own well over a thousand Kindle books and I can't choose to view them except for recent, author, or title. What about by series, genre, publish date or something else? I'd also like to be able to keep track of books I've read or those that are unread, even if the book is in the cloud. I also use Kindle for Mac and time I spend organizing on either device doesn't sync between my devices-why?
One more little complaint- the screen blank out when I switch to the Kindle app is SO annoying. Overdrive and Nook app don't do that. What's up?
battery drain
The April 15 update to version 4.8.1 seems to be draining the battery on my iPad mini with Retina much more quickly than previous versions. I don’t believe that I am using the app any more than before, but my batter has gone down ten percentage points within half an hour of use. Maybe this is normal and I’m so battery sensitive, but I don’t recall this happening before the update. As no features were added with this update I recommend waiting this one out.
Dictionary/Definition Font Suddenly Too Light to Read!
Would be a 5-star but I read definitions all through books, and suddenly the font is so small it's barely legible. There are hundreds (thousands?) of identical complaints on line, including on Amazon's discussion board. Coding error? Some young pup with 20 20 eyes loving spidery/light fonts? App is almost useless to me now.
