About King Ola:
Music has always been an important factor in King Ola’s life. Growing up, his friends and associates kept up to date with music through him. You might as well have called him the bootleg man, except he worked for free.
Interested in all types of music such as Dance, Funky House, House, Trance, Hip/Hop, R&B, Afrobeat, Afrojuju, Coupe Decale, Makossa, Hiplife, Soukous, Zouk, Reggae, Soca, Calipso, Dancehall, and much more; his weird taste of music & computer skills culminate him to DJing for his first online radio station in 2005 before joining up with the crew at XLTRAX (http://xltrax.com/).
After almost a year of service under XLTRAX, and losing his Managerial Job, in 2007 he decided to go mobile and started up with an event planning company from Atlanta, GA called Rock On Dude! (http://rockondude.net) as their official DJ.
Hence on, he has ripped apart local and national shows. Toured around, DJing for both the Urban Industry and Corporate World, to Weddings, Organizations such as the National Association of Black Engineers and Universities.
His passion for music is what fuels him today.
He has been dubbed the Official Gidilounge DJ and you can catch him on SOUNDBUZZ each and every Thursday from 7-9PM EST at Gidilounge Radio. (http://www.gidilounge.fm)
He is currently a member of the World Famous Nigerian DJs and Arsonist DJs.
