"The fact that it's far deeper than I could have imagined has easily pushed this into my Best of 2017 list." -Touch Arcade

"A cryptic, gorgeous, and righteously frustrating way to spend time." -PC Gamer

"I am in love." - Destructoid

Nominated by the Independent Games Festival for Excellence in Design.

Tales spread of far off isles with mysteries waiting to be discovered. Rulers will need all the strength of their subjects to sail away and find new kingdoms in these New Lands.

Kingdom: New Lands builds upon the award-winning gameplay and mystery of Kingdom by introducing an abundance of new content to the IGF-nominated title while maintaining the simplicity and depth that legions of monarchs have come to experience and enjoy. Travel to the New Lands and welcome the deluge of new mounts, merchants, and vagrants that call these isles home, but be wary of the new obstacles that threaten your arrival -- for not just the greedy creatures block your way but even the environment itself can defeat you.

Be brave, ruler, and fight to the bitter end, lest these New Lands conquer you instead.

Kingdom: New Lands features:

● One ruler, their horse, and a bag of coins
● Greedy creatures trying to take your coins and crown every night (stop them!)
● Loyal subjects who will help build, attack, and defend your Kingdom
● Multiple upgrades for your homestead, different unit types to attack and defend, and secrets littered throughout the land
● Beautiful soundtrack that has received two honorable mentions from the Independent Games Festival

I want to like this game.

I love the styling and gameplay, but it's just too hard. Way too easy too make a mistake that destroys hours of progress. Also appears to be many bugs, like trees that are marked to be cut that never get cut, despite having spent gold and having idle builders. There needs to be a guide for those of us who don't pick up on subtle cues that should apparently be obvious to the player, I still don't understand why some of these statues and other things I can spend gold on do. Also, when you finish the first island you start the next one with two builders and a hunter, but if you lose and try to start from two again, you don't get those extra men at the start of it, said which put you at significant disadvantage. I don't know if this is a bug or intentional. I want to love this game, but it's too challenging for me. Perhaps give the players who die often a chance to come back stronger, with either more gold at the start or more men. Some kind of skill tree to invest in would be helpful, i.e. archers shoot two arrows at once or fire further. Not everyone is on the level of a hardcore player and those people might need a little extra help to enjoy playing. This is a beautiful and well thought out game, it just needs a little more balancing for the average gamer.

A one-of-a kind TD experience.

Build your defenses and stave off evil elements in this engrossing pixelated beauty.
Unlike all other tower defense games, this one literally brings you down to ground level in more ways than you can imagine. From the very beginning, each player starts as a proverbial infant. No matter your skill level, you'll be tapping on everything to see how it works and progresses. The game begins before your kingdom is built and it's a rogue-like, so get used to starting over but take your experiences as bits of wisdom because it's what you could do next time that makes this game so intriguing. The gameplay is nestled so comfortably in such an intimate setting, I often find myself forgetting that this is a tower defense game. For someone who has become bored with the genre, I am thoroughly impressed.

Pleasantly Surprised :)

After watching JackSepticEye play this a few months ago I was hooked, and then when seeing it in the App Store I looked it up again and watched someone else play it. While the 10 dollars was a bit much, it really is a good game. Also I was very shocked to see it really does only take up 145.5 mb's of space, even after playing it for a while, no extra space was needed. That was a great surprise. The graphics are great and I love how the controls work. While I guess for some it may be very difficult, I love the game and it comes very naturally, even after watching only a few lets play episodes on it. Great game. Thx for adding it to the App Store.
