Great game, great customer support, one request

Imbazonkers

My husband and I have really been enjoying thins game. I've been playing American rules/no slops pool at actual tables since I was a kid and my husband has always played snooker. This has been really fun to do together, it's not quite the American rules I know which could mean they change by country? Either way, it's been a really enjoyable game and feels oddly close to actually playing pool. I also really enjoy that when playing against strangers there are no options to make be unsportsmanlike. The available comments and faces are all in good jest. My request would be to add a face that is just smiling. There is a laughing face and a face that wiggles its eyebrows which could both be construed as cocky comments, I would like to offer a friendly smile sometimes.
Lastly, my thumb accidentally opened my app yesterday and screwed up my account. My husband suggested I email them, I wasn't going to since customer service doesn't seem to be a thing anymore. They were GREAT! Just like the old days of customer service. They were friendly, kind, helpful and made sure I left a happy customer.

Game needs work a lot of work.

This game doesn’t use anything close to real physics. People will slop play and make stuff that should be impossible. If you use English you will more than likely scratch, if you win to many games it stacks everything against you. You will miss shots you should definitely make. You can make impossible shots on side pockets because the hole is bigger than the game shows. Ad every time you lose even if you spend money in-game. They have a rematch feature in game but what’s the point people close app after they lose to avoid the ads. That didn’t used to be there. The premium cues are worse than the standard cue. People in game are terrible losers, constantly abusing the little in game emotes to spam while you are trying to play. Oh an the best part the hacks, this game has been hacked and you can download the hack online and side load it one your iOS device. Giving you every advantage over anyone. But hey they are quick to respond with emails and do absolutely nothing to fix the glaring issues. It like they designed a game and then forgot about it. Oh like most other money grabbing apps. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. Their are better pool games on the AppStore.

(Update) Just read the response. It clearly shows they have no idea what I was talking about. It basic pool terminology.. If you make a pool game you should know this. Stays 1 star.

Developer Response

Hi there, we're sorry to hear the game didn't click for you! Rest assured language plays no part in who wins or loses, and also know win / loss ratio doesn't affect ads. If you are a user who has spent at all, you shouldn't be receiving ads. Would you care to email kingsofpool@uken.com? I'm sure we could get to the bottom of a number of your issues that way. :) Hopefully in the future you may be able to update your star review!
