Poor Kitty can't figure out how to get what he wants. ("Compliments on my tail? Friends to play with? Fish to eat?") Finally Kitty learns that the key to getting his wants/needs met is simply to ask. (Remember to help the story along, and discovery fun surprises by touching different objects!)

Great for therapy
Today I used this book with not one, not two, but FIVE of my birth to three speech/language clients! It was perfect and they loved it! The consistent favorite was the frog's "ta-da!" You are amazing! The kids learned about cause and effect, we labeled animals and actions and learned to ASK, (many of their goals have to do with using words to express wants and needs). All in all awesome!
I just love this author/illustrator. What a skilled artist! The watercolor illustrations are just darling, with super cute characters throughout. What a great message too, even for adults who might have trouble with passivity.
So cute!! I'm really impressed with all the animation and cute sound effects. I love it. My nieces and nephews also enjoyed reading it. You're so talented Ginny!
