Great Game! One problem and One idea
I bought the original game a couple years back and enjoyed it, and was pleasantly surprised to see a sequel on the App Store. Immediately I bought it and the DLC, one of which I have yet to play. But so far, I am absolutely loving the gameplay! It's almost the same as the last game, but the changes present are awesome! I also like the new crafting system; it adds in a whole new level of things to do in the game. The dungeons are also awesome because they have lots of lore to go with them. Finally, the character class selection system and the game room upgrades are amazing and are EXTREMELY useful!
Here's my only problem, and it's a short and sweet one: the game crashes. I use an iPhone 6, so it shouldn't really crash, but it does. Not often, but enough to where it's noticeable. Thankfully, the game saves often so you barely lose any progress.
Finally, I have one suggestion that I think would improve the game. Currently, in the stash, you can only store 20 items. I would love if you were able to purchase more slots in town shops, for say, 200 coins, to a maximum of 40 slots. To increase the stash size, you'd have to buy a certain consumable from a town shop. Once consumed, you would have a new slot in your stash with an alert letting you know.
Do not buy until updated
I played the first game and it was pretty fun so I bought this game. I'm playing on an iPad Pro and the game crashes constantly, so I can rule out an older device as the cause. There's also an error every time the game starts saying that the Everplay SDK is out of date. I checked the app page and there hasn't been an update for about 10 months. Given that the first game had issues that were never fixed, such as sprites floating off the screen, I can only assume that the developers are making enough money from the current state of their games to not warrant taking care of people that have already given them money by updating their games, which is horribly short-sighted. I look forward to being proven wrong with an update so I can give this game a better rating and be able to actually play to a point where I can buy the expansions. Hopefully it happens before I lose interest and just remove this game and view future Paradox apps negatively.
Pretty decent game but crashes often
I do like this game a lot. It's a nice one if you ever liked playing old school rpg's but were not super into all the ins and outs of the gaming worlds. It does seem to crash at the most unexpected times which is irritating but you don't seem to lose a whole lot of progress or items. That would be easier to live with if it wasn't for the price of the game itself. That being said I still like the game a lot. It's a very easy one to play and you can do so for a few minutes or a few hours. I can't see myself investing any more money into it until the crash issue has been addressed, though, and that's everyone's loss. Fix the bugs and crashes and you've got a five star app that's worth every penny.
