Knit Counter is a convenient way to store stitch counters and project information for multiple knitting projects.
Each project can have as many counters as you like, and all counters are highly customisable. You can choose the name, the starting value and even link counters together, so one counter increments another. There's also an info screen that lets you note down the pattern name, yarn and needles used, or any other information related to the project.
Other features include a handy frog button that allows you to decrease a counter if you have to rip back rows, and increase/decrease alerts which can be set on specific rows so you never forget an increase or decrease row again.

Also available on the iPhone App Store from Cordless Dog:
Knit Counter Lite: All of Knit Counter's great features for free, but limited to a single project.

Good knitting counter, one small annoyance
I have been using knit counter for nearly all of my projects for some time now. It is indispensable for my work, as it allows the tracking of all of the counters I need (such as when you have to keep track of a chart, increases/decreases, etc. all at the same time). It is extremely helpful. The number one irritant of this app is that I have to constantly stop working to tap the screen of the iPhone to keep it from going to sleep, so I don't have to keep waking it up to get back to my counters. This drives me a bit nuts at times, especially when my knitting hands are full. It would be very handy to have an option in the app to stop the phone from sleeping while in a project and keeping track of counters. Besides this, I like the simplicity and ease of this app for my knitting. I'm sure I will continue to use it. I'd just love that one issue handled. :) Thank you for your work on this helpful app, Cordless Dog. :D
No complaints, this is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I used the lite version first and even though the description said it could do multiple projects, it didn’t seem like it could. On an educated guess, I assumed the paid version allows multiple projects.. and it does! App is very easy to use and also quite powerful once you learn how to link counters. Very very awesome, especially if you’re like me and do a lot of crocheting in the round where it’s impossible to go back and count your rows after the fact.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this app!!! I crochet, and use it to keep track of all my rows, my pattern, yarn colors, etc. it's perfect. So much better then those counters sold at Hobby Lobby. Highly recommend this app for avid knitters or crocheters.
