Superb in every way - 5 Stars!
I'm a fairly handy guy (surgeon) and rely on several knots in my practice. Nevertheless I'm pretty hopeless at learning new knots and remembering them, even though I'm a sailor and do some fishing. Knots 3D is the answer. I love every aspect of the app.
Great App - 5 Stars!
I really like this app, I have 4 knot apps, and I use this one the most. As a firefighter rope skills is a must and this app helps keep me "knot prepared". The zoom and step through the knot using a finger gestures is real handy. The author updates this app with new knots often. I recommend this app.

Knot Your Average Guide to Knots (Well Done)
Knots 3D is brilliant! Within minutes of launching this app, I have tied a good number of knots which have eluded me when using static images of the same knots. The color contrast works nicely and the scalability and rotation features are immensely helpful.
I don't know how Knots 3D compares to other similar apps, but for my needs I cannot imagine needing anything other than this fine program. The developers should be commended for creating such a useful tool, especially one which is free to use and free of pop-up ads.
If you are just learning to tie knots, or are just in need of a refresher, I whole heartedly recommend getting Knots 3D right away.
Love this App! Knots for every purpose.
Wanted to fish again, & this App with it's 3D capabilities makes learning new knots so easy. The ability to speed up or slow down the animation is a really nice feature that makes understanding the process much easier. Set favorites easily so you can get to the knots you need right away.
All in, this is a great App for everyone. Knots are needed all the time in everyday life and 3D knots lets you learn the proper tool (knot) for the job.

Must have knot app!
This is truly an excellent application for learning knots. I have already used a number of the knots for day-to-day chores and also learned that knots I have used in the past are not secure, such as the square knot. The only recommendation I would make is to have a short definition section that describes the terminology, such as the difference between bends, hitches, etc. This will help the user to focus on the applicable knots to solve the problem at hand.
