Know Your Rights
Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
We all recognize the need for effective law enforcement, but we should also understand our own rights and responsibilities -- especially in our interactions with the police.
This app tells you what to do if you are stopped, arrested, or injured in your encounter with the police, and how to file a complaint.
The content was produced by the New York Civil Liberties Union and American Civil Liberties Union.
I have this App and a copy of the United States Constitution
I have this because Cop Thugs are violating the bill of rights everyday and if you don't know your rights you can't flex then.
Knowledge is freedom.
Great info I also have my states Constitution, you know now that you have this you need to read it so when the time come you know when to talk when to walk and when to ask for a lawyer.
PRICELESS!!!! In todays society everyone needs this helpful advice. Law enforcement is important, but not all citizens are bad people. Unfortunately if you get pulled over or detained by the police you are harrassed and intimidated to the point that you might make a careless mistake. Thanks for a very informative app.
It could use some work though, like making the 'Report A Problem' tab adjustible for other cities and states. Other than that, I say it's a great app for 1st time drivers or anyone that gets a little freaked about not knowing what to do when pulled over.
