Does not talk to Cloud

Supuflorous Flounder

The only cloud interfaces seem to be DropBox and something called WebDav, whatever that is. No apparent support for OneDrive, Google Drive, or iCloud. It may be a good, even great, editor, but without full cloud support it is useless to me. My projects live on OneDrive and Google Drive, decisions not under my control since the projects are shared. I can’t change the locations, and I can’t access them. So this app is longer interesting to me.

Great app still in 2018

Used this app back on my iPhone 5 in high school and still use it on my iPhone 8+ still great app for making home files

So close, so much promise

The day Koder 1.0 was released, I bought it without reservation. For rating it now, 3 stars for where it's at, 1 more star for what it feel like it could be (so close, I keep trying to re-add Koder to my workflow because I want it to grow on me). It's an absolutely gorgeous app considering it's for a coding environment, and has a number of interesting workflow differences from my mainstay, Textastic. Version 1.1 fixed some standard v1.0 bugs (manuals in web views can be tricky on the iPad) and added a number of necessary features. That said, the app just feels slower than it should, mostly in terms of navigating around and getting remote projects set up. I love the tabbed interface, but tab management can be tricky if you don't know where to tap, where to swipe, etc. Last time I checked, SSH was locked to the default port 22 despite my best efforts.

Koder feels like it has just a little more development left to go before it's fully baked, but that may be due to my workflow more than anything else. The developers did a fantastic job and created a beautiful app -- I just wish the interface had more apparent speed and that a few more updates were out by this time.
