Could be great, but it is not
I wrote a long review with suggested changes that needed to be made, but I accidentally logged out of iTunes and it lost my review. I am not going to retype my original review. I will just say that the user should be able to have more control over the look of the app. The words should be easier to read instead of very light gray lettering. You should be able to choose the Dark background for the entire day, not just after sunset(the white background hurts the eyes). And it is ridiculous that all of the lights turn on with a simple tap, but the Hue white bulbs turn off with a tap while the Hue color bulbs take a finger slide to the left. It should only take a simple tap for on and off on all lights. You should also be able list lights and rooms in whatever order that you desire instead of being forced to have them listed in alphabetical order. There are other changes that I would like to see changed but this is enough for now. The app it harder to use and a bit more confusing than it needs to be. I wish that I would not have paid for it, because there are other apps in the AppStore that look almost as nice, but are setup more logically. I have had this on my iPad for awhile now, but I always end up using my other HomeKit apps. I will be deleting this app.
Best looking UI
I'm new to home kit apps, but have recently been trying everything. This is definitely the best looking and intuitive design I've seen in this category and I have yet to run into any functional problems. Looking forward to continuing to use this app!
I have 7 Philips Hue lights and a vintage bulb on a switch controller. This app allows me to control everything, from different manufacturers, in one place. The interface is quite nice also.
I need to find an easier way to set white color lighting and then it's 5-stars.
