Crashes and Freezes iPhone

Monkey8649

This app needs an immediate fix. If you download any other file, like verbs or expressions, as soon as you attempt any of the tasks, the iphone freezes. It freezes so bad neither the home button nor the power off button on the top of the iphone will unfreeze or turn off the app. I had to use a combination of hitting the home button alternating with holding down the power off app and eventually after much persistance I was able to shut down and restart my iphone.

Additionally on smaller files after using and closing out the app, it refuses to open again and crashes to the desktop. Did iTunes even test this app before releasing it??? This is the 2nd app that I have bought that had glaring problems from the get-go. Suggust you avoid until Declan resolves thes problems with an update.

BTW I have Declan's software bundle for Korean for the computer and it is great!!! When these isssues are resolved this app would be well worth the investment.

(Also, btw, The field that should say Korean word says French word, but shows the Korean word... small error but it should be fixed, too.)

Could Use Improvement.

So v1 software often needs work. So here's the deal. Word lists are available only via WiFi, which is almost okay. However, you need to download each word list one at a time.

** What we need is a "download all lists" button.

Also right now the "Descriptive Verbs" list does not work. In otherwords, if you want to quiz yourself on the words, the iPod/iPhone will lock up. Would be nice to have a way to "redownload" the file in case it was a bad download.

Finally, it's difficult to prune out the words you already know. It should be easier to quickly go through a word list and include/exclude words. They should take a hint from the "kanji" program.

The listening exercise is good.

Would be good to be able to quiz on multiple word lists at once.

A must have app for learning Korean!!!

This app is made a huge impact on my Korean vocabulary! All the different quizzes work great in learning speech, spelling, typing, and listening in Korean!

This app is amazing! You can download off-line Korean words, nouns, expressions, verbs, well just about everything you need to be successful in learning the Korean language. Offline word sets are a huge plus! There are helpful activities for each set using quizzes and listening tools. This app will stay on the front page of my iPod next to my Korean off-line dictionary. Easy to use and a fun way to learn!
