This only about the app, not the station

I enjoy KPCC a great deal and listen throughout the day primarily over the air when possible, but often reception is poor indoors, so I try to stream with the KPCC app at those times.

I've struggled with the KPCC app since it was first released. It has improved slightly, but it is still plagued with bugs. It will randomly stop for no reason and replay the opening subscription advertisement, sometimes I'll get 2 or 3 playing simultaneously which is funny. Sometimes it refuses to play at all and must be force quit. It also will start playing when my phone disconnects from my car's Bluetooth even if it wasn't playing it via Bluetooth in the car. I often hear KPCC playing from my pocket when walking into work or into the house.

Playing specific shows from the app's program section is hit and miss. Often tapping a show will yield silence.

When the app works properly, which is now about 80% of the time, it is fine, but at least once a day when I'm streaming at work I have to fiddle with it because of some spontaneous behavior.

I stopped trying to submit bug reports several versions ago because the in-app feedback didn't work. It may be fixed now, I haven't checked. Emails to the developer and on the KPCC website were ignored.

Station & layout are Great! Streaming is inconsistent

The ipad version of this app does not restart podcast or live streams when interrupted by another audio signal such as an alert. Further, it is difficult to navigate between podcast streams and live streams. The control box that appears when the ipad is locked will pause a stream but does not restart it when the play button is toggled. The phone app is much better at this. Keep plugging away! Thanks for your amazing content!

Truly Fair and Balanced

Thank you for providing a place where I can hear all sides of an argument in these difficult times.
