Krdz is an easy to use flash card app!
• Simply write the flash card:
In Krdz, flash cards are made of text that you write and format. Like in a text editor or word processor. It is not required to fill in forms, nor to manage databases or comprehend their structure.
• Learn with spaced repetition:
Krdz uses a spaced repetition system (SRS). It shows you flash cards for you to answer. It does so repeatedly, but the period until a card is shown you again becomes longer each time provided that you answered the flash card correctly. Until you have learned it.
• Works offline!
Krdz does not rely on an internet connection in order to work. A user account is not required either. In fact, there are no user accounts in Krdz.
Krdz stores and processes only data it needs to implement its features. No data you enter leaves the app unless you instruct Krdz to do so (which currently is only when you give feedback by email from within the app). No data is collected about you, no dossier created.
I am using Krdz myself to learn some basic Dutch and French. I was looking for a non-distracting, easy to use and clearly structured flash card app but couldn't find one. So I made one myself. :D
I have many more ideas for Krdz, so stay tuned! The next major feature I intend to work on is "tags". Tags will allow you to organise your flash cards in groups which then can be learned independently. No more mixing Dutch and French! \o/
P.S.: You pronounce "Krdz" like "cards"… ;)

- in answer only
- in question only
- in answer and question
• When searching, the flash cards in the "Memorising" and "Testing" sections will now be limited to the result of that search.
