Kwippy is a fun and simple way to capture life’s moments in a candid way. Unlike all other social apps where anyone can post anything at any time, Kwippy users can only post photos during a short window of time when a timed, themed challenge is initiated - and they happen randomly throughout the day.
Where will you be when the next challenge happens? What will you be doing? Everyone gets the same challenge at the exact same time, so you can compare how others reacted to same challenge as you did.
Follow your friends, family, and favorite celebrities to see how they react to new Kwippy challenges every day - and test your wit against theirs to earn likes, climb the leaderboards, and grow your Kwippy score.
Bug fixes and performance improvements. We have also disabled social sharing to Facebook and Twitter due to new Facebook app sharing restrictions. We are evaluating how and when to re-introduce this feature.

This is a great new idea for social media. It pushes challenges like “your being sent to an abandoned island, you can take one nearby item.”Then you take a picture of it or with it, goofy or serious, you chose. Then other users like and comment increasing your rank on the challenge. This is such well made app. Noticed no bugs. Everything is extremely user friendly. I have a lot of fun interacting with community.
This app is the greatest example of fun you can have, it’s such a good game and kinda funny experience. So go have fun with this amazing app, what would you rather eat a shoe?
Fun app. Would like to see a few improvements
I was introduced to this app by a friend. I enjoy the concept and have overall enjoyed my time. The interface is a bit basic, but functional. I never had a hard time finding where I wanted to go or how to look at images or find people. There are a few bugs occasionally such as the camera not opening so I can take my photo. Also at times I have to click away and then back or restart the app to see other entries or my own as they just wouldn't load even with refresh. I am on an iPhone X so I don't believe it is my device, but it has also gotten better and they've had a few updates. I feel updates will continue to come making stability even better.
My main issues with the app are in two areas. First is with the in app camera. I don't like that the in app camera forces the images to be square crop. I want to be able to have control over whether my image is portrait, landscape, square...I don't like that choice being made for me. The in app camera also is very basic, which I also do not like. If using the rear facing camera, you CAN tap to focus & it will expose to that area, but you cannot lock the focus or adjust the exposure. I hate this. The focus/exposure does not stay long so focusing/exposing and recomposing is a pain as the focus/exposure jumps away from your intended point too fast. The front facing camera has no focus/exposure options at all. I would like the same albeit limited features the stock iOS camera app has to be added in this app. I would also like to be able to choose between either my wide angle or telephoto lens for capturing the image for the phones that have that feature.
The second area I take issue is really not the fault of the developers AT ALL. I feel they do a good job keeping the challenges varied and regular. My issues is that at the end of the day, the challenges are really more of a popularity contest. "Known" ppl seem to be at the top of the listing for votes more often than not. Even if their photo is objectively off for the challenge or a stretch to fit the description. I understand Kwippy is likely meant to just be a fun, social, low-key type of experience at the end of the day, but they are issuing challenges, ie, contests. Even if there is really no prize other than a placement number from voting, it is a game to me and one I want to believe I can at least some of the time have a chance to win. It takes the fun out of it for me if I feel that it is almost impossible if certain ppl post for a given challenge. They are just gonna get the votes regardless of how close to the challenge their image is. Maybe it's just me with this problem...
Either way, I think the app is worth trying out. Hopefully the few hangups I have with it won't bother others. Cheers!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
