The Kentucky Shakespeare Festival is the oldest free Shakespeare festival in the United States, performing in the C. Douglas Ramey Amphitheater in Louisville's Central Park. The Festival runs for 11 weeks every summer, and will welcome close to 30,000 people for 66 performances of 8 different plays. An evening with Kentucky Shakespeare also includes Will's Taverns, a rotating selection of food trucks, and different community artists performing pre-show entertainment every night.
