Can be improved
The app in general is ok, you can do a lot of stuff without the need to go to front desk or to some employee. But I have found some things that can be improved, for example when I click on personal training, if the app is taking time to launch the option and I press it again, it will display twice that option, I think this happens on every item. Another thing is if you are out of the country the personal training option will never show up, no alert no nothing. This option is useful because some people like me book the training weeks before in order to get the desired traniner. Another thing that will be cool is the capability to add the membership card to the wallet, this will be a huge improvement and I think the users will be more satisfied. Also the UI/UX can be improved, nowadays the UX is very important for a friendly application. Other than that it is ok, it fullfills all the things that the user needs to do without the need to be on site.
Needs lots of work for racquetball
In van nuys club on sepulveda the reservation disappears as soon as the reservation time hits. Unfortunately that means you can't show people on the court already that you really did reserve that time and court. Only way is to go up to the front desk and their minimum wage employees to kick out the squatters
Also, we were told that court 1 is a challenge court only and cannot be reserved. Unfortunately it can be reserved on the app so you have to be very careful not to reserve court 1
And my last beef. If I want to extend or modify my reservation, I have to cancel and re-reserve which puts me in danger of losing even my original shorter. You should be able to see what's available and modify without canceling
Not accurate, simplistic
Although I don't know if it's the fault of the app itself, or the fault of the check-in process at the club, the app can't accurately track my check-ins. About every other month, it fails to record at least one of my visits.
The rest of the stuff on the app seems to be there to generate more sales and business for the club and it's trainers. I guess that's fine, but it doesn't provide me with much value as an app.
The most troubling aspect is that I can't rely on it to tell me how many times I've been to the club (that's critical when you have a health plan reimbursement).
