Meh, artwork is bad but color wheel is worse
I agree with another review that some artwork is weird, like half frog half man and other psychotic works. I can almost overlook that, but there aren't many artists to choose from with pleasing, relaxing pictures. A monthly/yearly subscription is absurd. There is an option to buy a single artist pack, but with only a few good artists and minimal pictures in a pack, I can't justify the price. The daily pictures are straight up lame. Even if I do choose to color one of them, the color wheel is lacking true color tones. Why can't I find a true red....or royal blue? Overall this one needs work, an updated true color palette and fresh artists.
Peaceful
One reason why I like this particular app is also one little aspect that I think needs improving. I love the freedom to experiment with color and brushes and applications! But I would LOVE to be able to color outside of the lines! Maybe this choice exists- but if not, it would be more realistic without the gutters in every black line.
That saying, I appreciate this gift, for I do not have to use my sparse money and still have access to painting and a wide variety of colors and styles. Thank you.
Awesome alternative to pencil and paper
Until now, I haven't really enjoyed digital coloring, preferring to use books and pencils. But this app is great! I love the tool options and the color wheel. The yearly subscription feels pricey, but then I think about how much I've spent on coloring books and supplies over the past year. Looking forward to new artists being added.
