Landra is the place for teens to exchange information for independence. Teens have ownership over their tasks and communicate through the app directly to their parents in Mothershp.
Here's how it works:
Parents and teens set chores within Mothershp and assign them point values.
Teens receive their list of chores in Landra.
Teens can complete these tasks based on due date and point value.
Once parents approve the completed chore, points are rewarded
Teens choose their desired reward.
Parents are happy because things get done. Teens are happy because they get to do what they want.
Fixed selection chore bug.
Ratings and Reviews
Needs a little work.
So far my 12 & 15 year olds dislike that they earn tickets in Landra but can’t use them for anything nor can they send messages to me from their app like their younger siblings using the ChoreMonster app, even if it’s just something as simple as balloons to say thank you for approving reward they wanted to cash in.
And why can they delete a chore that I assigned them? I understand deleting their own chore they added but one I assigned? This should not be possible.
Other than those complaints overall I would say this app is pretty good. And update is due after 7 months with not even a response to reviews, it seems like the developers just dropped off the face of the earth.
Okay, but needs improvements
Somehow we just discovered this teen app. I like the look of it, and that it’s more grown up for our two teens.
I really dislike that my child can delete chores. I manage chores of 5 children between Landra and Mothership. It took me hours to set up a rotation of two weeks worth of chores repeating. While I appreciate that I get a notification that a chore was deleted, I have to go back into the calendar to figure out where to set the future chore. I read another review that trend can add their own chores and rewards. While I appreciate that you’re trying to give teens a little more independence, I still lay down the rules at my house. A simple notification in mothership that my child wants to delete or add something would be much better.
Developer Response ,
Thanks for the suggestion! I've added your request for teens to be unable to delete rewards to our list of feature requests and will be sure to share it with the team as well.
We're always looking for ways to improve the apps based on user feedback. Thanks!
Almost a good app!
Worked great for a week then, poof... my kids were trained but the app quit on us! I guess we used it too much or something! Unable to log in and complete chores! While I’d love to believe it’s my kids doing, like they found a way to break the app, I am pretty sure it is not! I am hoping ( but not holding my breath) that the tech support email still works and maybe I’ll get a reply? Landra, Mothershp and Chore Monster all are broken right now... and my house is a mess and my kids are regressing big time... I thought I finally had a handle on this parenting thing but I guess I am back to square one!
