Kickstarted to Greatness!
I found out about this app through Kickstarter awhile ago. My wife and I have been really looking forward to checking out ever since. Now being a former chef myself, I'm not prone to using cook books or cooking apps, so it takes something special to catch my attention. My favorite part is the gorgeous slide shows illustrating to cooking process. For people not overly familiar with certain techniques (not everyone has trussed a whole chicken before), they can be a real help. They also nock down the intimidation factor a few notches as well. My wife's favorite part is the shopping list feature. She's not big on writing things down with pen and paper, so a digital list makes things quick and easy.
The seasonal breakdown, interesting ingredient selections, along with great photos make this app a great introduction to classic techniques and creative cooking for newbies and pros alike.
Gorgeous But Not 144 Recipes
I love the app- the recipes are very nicely and clearly detailed. Photos are gorgeous too. However, when purchasing, as per the description, I thought it contained 144 recipes. I counted only 75. Am I missing something- perhaps a link to the other recipes? This is why I only gave it 4 stars.
