Poor Customer Service


I’ve been with them almost a year, and have seen things change and adjust. The system is still about 65% accurate on predicting how items will fit, even after diligent feedback on the pieces I’m sent.
The one one thing I cannot deal with, is poor customer service. For example: I requested to purchase an item I liked in my shipment, but brand new. They said no problem and shipped it to me. When I put it on, I noticed all of the flaws. It was NOT the same garment. I spent $60 on the dress, and it looked like it was rescued from a casts off pile. It should have never been shipped. The fabric and style were the same, but all of the seams were stitched wrong; the seams don’t lie flat and the belt is All bunched up because ITS seams are off too. Horrible quality and construction.
Le Tote won’t take it back either, because it’s outside of their return window. That really upsets me; they made a mistake by letting poor quality make it to my door. I’m reasonable; I just want them to make it right. Ship me the right dress (preferably), or refund my money. It’s not like I changed my mind outside of the return window; I’m giving them an opportunity to fix their mistake! Just to add salt to my wounds, they dropped the price of my dress from $59 to $15, 2 weeks after I bought it… but I didn’t complain. I thought, “fair is fair. I’m satisfied with the price I paid for my dress.” Little did I know. 🙄

I switched over to Le Tote from using Rent the Runway unlimited services because of pregnancy and needed a subscription service that carries maternity wear. Pros to Le Tote and the App, easy to navigate closet, much cheaper than RTR, clothing items available for review of more tote within a few hours of dropping off the package for return, meaning you can stay consistently on top of your closet and get fresh clothes for the weekend each weekend. Cons, the jewelry quality of necklaces is often cheap chains despite pretty pendants, the app doesn't allow you describe issues with clothing, only check boxes, there can be issues with your closet and picking items available within your season. I live in Texas and it's still in the 80-90s during the day but since October my boxes have repeatedly shown long sleeves that I then have to swap out prior to confirming my tote. Overall good app and good customer service, but not same level of flexibility I was used to with RTR. Will probably go back to RTR after I have the baby despite additional cost.

An excellent way to stay in style


For approximately $60 a month, I wear around $500 - $900 worth of clothing and accessories. One of the features offered by Le Tote that I really enjoy is that I can purchase any item in my tote (at a discounted price of course) that I LOVE. I get to wear everything, ship it back, customize a new tote and get all new items within a few days.

The Customer Service with LenTote is outstanding! Once I was sent a damaged blouse and a CS representative immediately offered me an extra clothing item in my next tote. Another time, my tote took so long to be delivered. Again, a CS rep contacted me and added an extra week to my billing cycle.

The variety of clothes and accessories are plentiful, the clothes always fit, all items are clean and in “like new” condition. Even after being a member for awhile now, I still get excited to customize and receive my totes!!
