Learn French Vocabulary includes:

• A customized flashcard repetition algorithm that cuts your memorization time dramatically

• Convenient “browse” and “search” functions that allow you to easily find cards you want

The Best - My Go-To French Language App

I've had a few years of French and wanted to refresh my memory and become more proficient. I've downloaded a number of apps and find that the hands-down winner is Brainscape's intuitive approach. The learing curve is fast - you are presented with a word in English ("to play") and then tap a button to both see and hear it in French - you then quickly rate your comprehension on a scale of 1 to 5. The systems learns your weak spots and through rapid repetition reinforces vocabulary and phrases until you have mastered them. When you've had enough (there is no end point - you determine how much you want to learn each day), simpy select "done" and the program automatically syncs your progress. I find this method superior - difficult concepts won't get lost in the shuffle of learning. I wouldn't recommend this app if you are a complete novice - but for what I want to accomplish, it's fantastic. Perfect and worth every penny.

Simple and works well

I've tried quite a number of apps from Apple Store, Google Play, the MS store, Anki, and Transparent Language. Of the apps I've used this one required the least amount of work to setup, use and to start making progress.

It comes with a large assortment of words out of the box.

Yes. There's room for improvement, but this app works and it helps.

Very useful app

This is a very easy-to-use flash card app (aka Spaced Repetition Software). The vocabulary is useful and current, and there are plenty of cards to help build and maintain vocabulary. Well worth it for fitting a good hour's worth of studying into those short breaks throughout your day.
