What's New in Version 2.3
Good for vocab
I don't know any Greek except how to say hi but I want to learn Greek because my father's from Greece and I want to learn how to speak it because it would really make him happy and I want to learn how to speak it but my dad can't teach me because I don't see him enough because my parents are divorced and he doesn't speak good enough English to be able to teach me so this app is good for familiarizing yourself with how the language sounds and for simple vocab which are all nouns but it does not teach you the alphabet, how to have conversations, or conjugations or anything like that but it is free and I appreciate whoever put the effort into making the app.
Useless But Helpful
This is a cool app, and I was able to learn a lot, however there are a few parts I'm not fond of. It doesn't start out with the alphabet, so I was clueless as to what the app was talking about until I got 15 other apps to give me that alphabet. Once I learned the alphabet it was more helpful, but it has a bug where if I leave the Internet on while using it, the app will undoubtedly crash. Also, there are so many words to learn in a single category that it's overwhelming. If you divide the categories up into smaller categories, fix the bug, and add an alphabet, it would be a five star app.
I already spoke a bit of Greek, and this app helped me tons. The vocabulary provided is helpful, the variety of vocabulary themes is great, and the multiple methods for learning and studying made this app arguably the best app for learning Greek. The only reason arguably is because they didn't provide the alphabet. Even though I already knew it, it would still be nice for beginners. Regardless, I love this app and I recommend anyone to use use it if they want to learn Greek.
