I am a long time user of Mint. I tried this app because it was recommended by the book Financially Fearless. I'm not quite sold on deleting Mint though, because there are some shortcomings. You can "teach" Mint how to categorize certain transactions, unlike LV. Also, side by side, mint shows the pending transactions in my accounts, but LV doesn't show anything until it's officially posted the the account. If these were fixed, I might be able to delete Mint.
I got this for the budgeting feature. It's hard to set up, kept losing connection with my bank - or if I "fixed" the issue it would duplicate them only to lose them a day later - doesn't "learn" what transactions folder where and the folder system is cumbersome. Not to mention the stupid banner ad for their paid service that sits at the bottom of everything, makes it hard to work without a bunch of scrolling back and forth. The constant attempts to get me to set up a sales call were annoying too. I just want an app to help me budget and this is not it.
This is a review for the financial planning, which is the paid service. I sent several questions to support trying to sign up for it, but the website was broken, I got copied and pasted emails in reply from their sales, and they never bothered to answer any of my questions. My wife and I were planning to sign up. One day maybe they'll deliver what they're promising, but right now this doesn't feel ready, the service level is too poor and technology buggy, to the point where we couldn't even use it.
