Create SoundSpaces with Libratone wireless speakers
The 2015 Zipp and Zipp Mini from Libratone play your way – move, link, and enjoy the music you love.
The Libratone App is required to setup and connect new speakers, and manage the Classic range – Zipp Classic, Live, Lounge, Loop and Diva.
Simply connect your speaker to WiFi in seconds. Choose the perfect audio setup to match the dynamics of your room and the position of your speaker. Save 5 favourite internet radio stations to your speaker, and select them directly from the Touch Controls.
Use SoundSpaceTM Link to play the same music across your home, or stream different sound to different spaces. Fill your home with 360 FullRoomTM Sound.
Take charge of your music with the new Libratone speakers and App - it’s simple, fun and free.
What's New in Version 4.0.1
- now supports Simplified Chinese
- Bug fixes
This version of the app adds features for multiple speaker setups. However, the interface and general usability had taken a huge step back. The development team really needs to reconsider the current design; it's not good.
Forcing the user to swipe through pages of presets is annoying at best. What was wrong with a list? It was much easier to quickly find what you're looking for.
Wants to know your location. For a speaker.
What is with companies requiring you to register in order to use apps that don’t need connectivity. I use to be able to manage my Zipp classic without registering, not any more.
And why the hell does this app need to know my location? Are you kidding me? And push notifications? For what? Because Libratone updates the speaker firmware so often?
Latest update adds back volume control! I liked the old interface better, and preferred when there wasn't registration. But I'm glad the app is at least functional once again.
