Very buggy (no pun intended)
This is such a fun game when it functions properly, but there are some very irritating bugs (no pun intended). For example, the app constantly force closes in the middle of a round, which is especially frustrating when I want to read the explanation given for an incorrect response. Several times the app has forced me to forfeit a game that I had every intention of completing (and had only been away from for a few hours) or forced my opponent to forfeit without their knowledge. I've also been having receptive issues with an inability to connect to my Facebook account or access my games even though I have already successfully logged in several times and have both cell and wifi signal. It is incredibly inconvenient that I can only have four games running at once, but still have to tolerate ads. And there really needs to be an in game rematch option. I don't want to search through my friend list every time I want to play another game with the same person.
Fun, but . . .
This is a lot of fun and could be informative, with a couple of changes:
1) Allow us to review the "true statements" after successfully completing a round--including the content that pops up after you mistakenly swat a truth. This wouldn't just make the game more educational, it would reward success.
2) Likewise, I think there should be revealed content on some of the lies. Something on the order of, "this isn't true, but this is."
As it is, the whole game is structured such that we learn almost nothing. T
Fun, but YDKJ sets the bar awfully high
As usual with the folks at Jellyvision, concept and execution are excellent, but I wish there would be a little more variety. You just go through three rounds of the same game, with none of the imaginativeness of YDKJ, with its Dis-or-Dats and Gibberish questions. Also, winning is kind of anticlimactic. Sometimes, when playing random opponents, I won't even know I beat them unless I scroll down to see my recent completed games. A little fanfare would've been nice.
