Looks great, but that's all
I am an appaholic. Seriously. When they see my phone at the Apple Store or cell provider, they always comment on my having so many apps. I love ones that help my life easier and more organized as well as ones that help me stay motivated. Unfortunately this one fails at all of these.
The biggest problem is that the interface, while it looks pretty, is not intuitive. I am someone who tracks many goals. It immediately became apparent that this is not for the person with many goals they want to track. For one thing, there aren't very many icons to represent your goal so you wind up having to choose something that looks like a box or a phone or a pill capsule to be the visual representation of "clean for 30 minutes." There isn't a way to choose the color of the icon, and I use colors as a way of staying organized. And at the time of this review, there isn't even a way to do an in-app purchase of more icons.
Further complicating things, each day comes with a number (of the month) surrounded by a circle. The more goals you are tracking, the more pieces the app breaks that surrounding circle into. Then there is the issue of the faint icons that you selected at the bottom of the page. Do you remember that you chose the shape of a pill to represent cleaning? If not, good luck.
This just isn't well thought out or useful, so I am deleting.
First, to the developers, that today button at the right bottom of screen has no function. I'm not sure how you missed that.
App is ok. Not good enough to be a paid app the way it's currently. They have icons to represent your goals. Not many of them. For example a dumbbell and a pill are the only health/beauty related ones.
You will use these little symbols to check off the goal. Hope you remember what it was. Even though the icons are different colors, they are represented exactly the same on that circle. So looking over the month, all you see is the proportions of all the goals you set up that were done that day.
Also, let's say you want to do something twice a day, like take medication. You'd need to create 2 separate goals for each one. And again, there r only so many icons to chose from.
This could be a really good app. I see where they were going with the idea creating the app. But I don't feel they followed through.
Seems to be just what I want
I download a lot of goals and habit apps. I wanted one that would help me with developing a few new ones that are daily, weekly and even every so many days. And I wanted something that would enable me to see how I'm doing with history and graphs or charts. Lastly, I wanted an app that was easy to use and visually appealing. So far this app is meeting my needs!
