We are aware of issues when trying to order a lot of prints and are very sorry for the inconvenience. We are working on revising our app to better handle this. In the meantime, you can avoid issues by only selecting one print size after selecting your photos, add them to your cart, and then continue shopping to add a different print size.

Could Be Fantastic

I've used this app a few things and love the functionality of being able to submit pics to a local photo lab directly from my phone, but I have trouble with the uploading function. With past versions I was slightly annoyed that uploads did not continue in the background... This app has to be the open app for uploads to work. Uploading also drained my battery (which I'm not sure there is much you cab do about that) so I
worked around these issues by starting Photo uploads right before I went to bed... When my phone was plugged in and charging. In the morning my photos would be uploaded and I could order them. With this new update though I just attempted an overnight upload but only about half of my pictures uploaded. Not sure why it stopped. I was trying to upload 51 pictures and only 31 uploaded. Also when I go into the "pending" section of the app the uploads didn't automatically start up again like they used to do. I really wish this could be resolved soon as I love the potential of this app.

On a positive note... I really like the way the new update of the app shows you whether the pictures are horizontal or vertical rather than just having them display as squares.

Allow extra time for orders

I ordered a photo canvas from lifepics to be a Christmas gift. Received canvas Wednesday December 19- there was a spot in the middle of the photo not present in original photo ( subject appeared to have snot coming out of nose). I called first thing next morning and was told that an outside lab was responsible and had to wait for their response. Did not hear back until after Christmas. Since gift recipient was in town for Christmas, I needed gift shipped directly to their house instead. They said no problem. It is January 2, gift got shipped to original address, then redirected to new address, new delivery date is January 4. Merry Christmas, indeed. Please do not order anything directly from lifepics, unless you don't care when you get it or about the quality. Save yourself a great deal of frustration and time and consider ordering directly from local lab or using shutterfly or mpics.

Helped me decide to buy a printer

After downloading the app, it didn't appear to be working. While trying to connect to a live person by phone I was repeatedly placed on hold where I was disconnected but not before being prompted continuously to use Livehelp on line. While trying to use Livehelp and later email, I was getting odd questions in response to my inquiries, all of which had the answers in them. I am not sure if Livehelp is human customer service or automated. After finally getting actual steps to try, all the app did was repeatedly crash seconds after opening it. The experience helped me decide to delete the app from my ipad and invest in a good printer to print photos myself instead.
