Quality is 5 stars-
I was hesitant to download the app after reading the reviews. I was prepared to delete it if it sucked like some of the reviews said. Honestly I downloaded the app 3 days ago and I love it! My app works great! It doesn't skip or buffer. It plays good and the volume is good. My commercial content is fine- not too lengthy and volume isn't louder than my show. My app remembers where I left off in my show- even the next day. My only complaint is that since I am not using a cable provider I can't watch all the episodes listed- they are locked. If I could watch everything listed in the app I would have given it 5 stars.
Terrible
This app is terrible no matter what device you are using it on. I use mostly on Apple TV and my biggest complaint (of many) is probably the fact that some commercials decide to play on max volume. It scares the heck out of you. It's not the same commercial either. It can be one, two or all of the commercials during that break. Second, it doesn't keep track of where you left off in an episode. I spend more time fast forwarding and rewinding just to try and figure out where the heck I left off. Not to mention each time you fast forward or rewind you have to watch all the previews again just to find out that you are likely still in the wrong spot of the episode. These should be initial issues of an app. Not issues that are still happening years later.
Fix your glitches!!!
I have to reset my device (chromecast) almost every time I watch something on this app. Constant buffering, looping commercials, and pixelated images riddle my experience with the Lifetime app. Also, whenever I press the button to stream to my chromecast, it replays 2+ minutes of the same commercials I just watched when I opened the app. Beyond frustrated with this app! Forget pausing a show and coming back later; every time I do this it's a 20 minute ordeal of resetting my device, killing the app, and sitting through 5+ minutes of commercials that I've seen 5 times already. This is the worst TV app I've ever experienced. Please listen to your customers, Lifetime, and do something about this!
