Lili is a quirky adventure RPG hybrid with stunning visuals, silky-smooth graphics and a cinematic storyline. Tuned for new devices, Lili is one of the most visually-stunning games available on iOS.
On the mysterious island of Geos, Lili will meet a number of hilarious locals, explore beautiful environments, solve some puzzles, and even challenge an oppressive regime or two along her way. Lili uses an amusing "non-combat" system for dealing with enemies, and sorts out a few personal issues along the way.

Good, simple fun
The best I can describe this game is that it feels like a mobile version of Kameo for the Xbox 360. The levels are gorgeous and cheery, and collecting everything in the game can be quite addicting.
The only downside to this game are ads; yes, a game I paid $3 for has the nerve to throw ads in my face! (not to mention that the talking mailbox will sometimes "suggest" an app for you) Aside from that, the IAP's aren't an issue. Unless you really don't want to work hard for things like cash and keys (which defeats the purpose of playing a game), you won't find much use for the premium items. Otherwise, it's just a matter of dolling up your character in different outfits/hair color.
Other than that, this game has a lot of charm. The wacky dialogue occasionally gave me a chuckle, and it's a surprisingly nice change of pace towards other types of games I normally play. Great imagination, and a nice sense of progression the more I played. As an adult, this game made me feel like a kid again. Highly recommended!
Visually, this game is amazing. I honestly didn't think an iPhone game could look this good. It has an interesting concept and the battle method is fun. I love Lili as a character. Good, interesting and not hyper-sexualized female characters in games (as well as other media) is always a good thing. All of this is great, though the game has some problems.
The dialogue is a little off and the use of modern slang-y dialogue just doesn't fit with this world. My other main complaint is with the ads. When I pay for an app, I don't think it's an unreasonable expectation that advertisements are absent. That's not the case here. When trying to start the app from the start screen, an ad will usually pop up and I'll have to close it and press the start button again. This is something that should not be happening in a pay-for app. While I understand the use of in-app purchases, advertisements have no place in an purchased app. I hope that BitMonster fixes this issue. If it will, I can live with cheesy dialogue in such a visually beautiful game.
Fun with a few hiccups
I have an iPhone 5s and there are no performance issues or crashing. This game was designed for the iPhone 5 so running it on anything prior to that will probably crash. Controls are easy and intuitive. My only complaint is that there isn't a quicker way to perform a 180° turn without swiping my finger several times to spin the camera around.
I answered a call mid-game and when I returned, the menu icons (? and backpack) had disappeared. After closing and restarting the game they reappeared. After interacting with the npc that wanted "candy", the backpack icon disappeared again. When entering rooms, sometimes the graphics fail to load and the walls become invisible. All I see is a bare room with see-through "walls" and a treasure chest.
