Very happy!

I use this app both commercially and personally for the last 5 years, and I have to say, it works superbly! I have two, line 2 accounts (one 888 account) and they work great! The only time it hasn't was due to a setting, and that was my fault. Customer service is extremely helpful an ive used them multiple times. The call routing works wonderfully! I was with eVoice and had multiple problems with them. My number one complaint that there was always a transfer "delay" between when you pushed that numbers options (press 2 for customer service for example) as eVoice played a "recording" of a ring or music... But it wasn't actually ringing the other phone yet, so it seemed to the caller to take forever to answer the phone and caused us to miss money making incoming calls! Not with line2 call toying! You press 2 and it rings the other line immediately!:) it also has worked everytine without fail so far vs eVoice sometimes the call wouldn't get routed At all during peak times, and evoices service would NOT bring it to the attention of the engineers, which was very upsetting. As an insurance agency, we can't tolerate any hiccups in call routing, and I now finally have that confidence with line 2. I am so happy I switched to line 2 for my business and personal needs. Extremely happy!

Pretty darn Good!!

I have been using Skype for the last 2 months and Line2 for a day. Here's what I have found so far. Phone calls on 3G are much better and very clear compared to Skype,1 for Line2. Free texting, Skype has chats. Another one for Line2. Telephone # and subscription is $7 with Skype, Line2 is $10 , 1 for Skype. You can use Skype only on WiFi or 3G , you can use Line2 on WiFi, 3G or use your cell phone plans for a better connection , another one for Line2. But the deal breaker and the best one of all is that Line2 works works with my Bluetooth in my car, Skype DOES NOT. I know I am going to keep Line2 after the 30 day free trial is up and dump Skype. Overall score so far Line2 4, Skype 1. If Line2 was $3 cheaper they would get 5 ***** s. Line2 is looking like a slam dunk. Keep up the good work. Thank David Pogue too he should get a commission. Since I wrote this I have signed up for the next 6 months. It's even better than I thought it was when I wrote the original review. Love it fantastic app.

Line2 is asking for a review. Ok. Still love this app. Works better for me on 3G than WiFi, much much better. Works through my cars telematics. Can't ask for much more. Sound quality is better than iPhone to iPhone and far superior to Skype. Skype on my iPhone s**ks. Great app.

The app I've been waiting for!

I was shocked when I stumbled upon this app. After seeing how Apple pocket-vetoed Newber, I felt no-way would they approve anything that could potentially cut into AT&T's profits. Up to now I've had 2 iPhones (business & personal), both linked up to a YouMail account. 99 cents is nothing and the monthly service charges are highly competitive. Sure there are problems with initial registration via the iPhone app., but then toktumi gives full warning about that. I can think of a number of businesses that could stand to lose profits to them and potentially want to sabotage their efforts. Nonetheless, I tried again on my iMac at their website and had no problems registering. It's also better in that they give you a large selection of numbers to choose from (although I'll likely port one of my other numbers and sell one of my iPhones). They have a very polished site and very powerful options for a small business without the large price tag you might expect. This is, by far, the best option in its class... and I've tried them all. A couple suggestions for later improvements: incorporate the functions of Newber's GPS-wise call routing and YouMail's message transcription service. Thank-you.
