In principle it's great!
The app in principle is great, but the integration between iPhone and the app is not very good. If the iPhone rings, it puts you in hold automatically and many times, it freezes there and you cannot hang up the call.
Also, the texts cannot be MMS, because it won't receive nor send pictures, only words.
They improve the reception significantly in the last upgrade.
For some reason, the "closeness sensor" does not work. Many times you bring the phone up to your ear and the screen still on and active, so anything can happen from hanging up to putting the person on hold or speaker.
Last but not least and this is new, when it rings in the app, I have it set up to forward the call to my iPhone (for better reception) and now it is ringing on my iPhone once and it goes to voicemail when it is set in the system to ring 5 times prior to going back to voicemail.
Like I said, in principle, they have a great product and in essence it gets the job done but it still has a lot of way to go before it is proven tech.
I will continue to use it, it is indispensable for my business, I just wish it was more reliable and robust.
Line2 IS AWESOME
I think the problem you are having is due to your network provider. I switched from comcast Xfinity to AT&T Uverse and noticed the better reception IMMEDIATELY!! I switched back to comcast Internet only because my monthly bill doubled..(something line2)❤️ has never done. I've been a customer for five years now and my complaints are few if any.. I wish we had the old style of deleting phone calls sms msgs. etc.
I finally after four years got my daughter to try it
and she was very happy.. So research your issues. you might find the problem isn't all Line2.
Getting worse, and worse, and worse...
I've been a line2 user for 2+ years now. I never advertise my 800 number, not online, not on social media, nowhere! Yet recently I've been getting 10+ calls a day with blank 5 minute voicemails! Spam call after spam call. I'm convinced toktumi selling our numbers to advertisers. So aside from that crap, the app never works. Sorting through my 10 spam voicemails a day makes me quit and restart the app 4 times. I press the voicemail icon, nothing ever happens, it never plays the voicemail. I'm forced to listen to them through iTunes getting the message from email. I NEED my 800 number, but this is my last month paying these guys for this crap service. At least with a new number and new company I won't get spam calls at 3:30am!
