This is the story of Little Luna: The Moon Guardian.
One day the sun stopped shining and a bright light appeared. Little Luna followed the bright light towards the surface of the earth in search for answers. During her quest she will see mountains covered with snow and caves filled with adventure. Using the light to her advantage, she can clear obstacles and solve puzzles. It is up to you to help her find the way.
Will she find the answers she's looking for? Well… it is up to you to find out.
The game is made in UDK and features:
- A completely narrated adventure
- 4 different chapters, each with unique environments
- Isometric Point & Click game-mechanics
- Full length soundtracks
The complete game is made by 2 students, Niek Jurjens & Martin Verhey. We are also known as Joove. The game was made in the semester DMP (Digital Media Production) at the HAN University of Applied Sciences.
NOTE: We recommend to play this game on the iPad with a headset to get the best experience. iPhone users should boost their brightness in order to experience the game.
Very amusing game, great storyline, and origninal idea with following the glowing bubble. Loved the narration idea, and the clever writing goes a long way, "little girl, big rock, not good." My only complaint was that I had a few sensitivity problems with getting Luna to stop just standing there waiting to be hit, sometimes it took several taps to get her to start moving again (sometimes it felt like she wanted the rocks to hit her..). Her mobility would be improved if you were able to hold down on the screen and the character would continue to move in that direction until you let up, but that would interfere with the burning, something to mess with perhaps.
I hope I get to see more soon!
Started to show potential
This game started out mildly interesting, it was slow but enough to hold my attention. I enjoyed the first chapter enough, they added a new element of gameplay every chapter. And at the end of chapter 3 I was just getting into it. But that was the end. In conclusion, it was very short, it was the beginning of what could have become fun entertaining puzzle game. In conclusion add 7 more chapters minimum.
Very enjoyable start
A lot of promise here. Narration is excellent, world/mythology is interesting. Would certainly buy a completed version. In any case, wish the developers all the best on future projects. They seem like nice people.
