With wonderful illustrations by Susie Jaramillo and inspired by the beautiful Mexican calavera art from Jose Guadalupe Posada, SKELETITOS is a celebration of the ordinary and extraordinary, where past and present meet and everyone is welcome!

Featuring the song Los Esqueletos (Calaveras) Salen de la Tumba, kids can sing along and read along for a fun Day of the Dead spin.

This app teaches: 

Counting & telling time: A clock whose hands mark the time matches each advancing number in our counting story so little ones can count from 1 to 12. 

Reading: The read-along portion of the book highlights the text as it reads, to help early readers learn. There is also a read alone function which allows the child to read at his leisure with the option of getting help if they need it. With each new hour, there is a different activity for the Skeletitos to engage in. 

Phonics: The rhymes in English and Spanish use phonics and reiteration to help kids remember the text.

Music + Rhythm: There is a fantastic phonetic rhythm that happens in the text, brought to life with a song and beautiful character animations.
