Shown to reduce OCD symptoms by 34% in 8 weeks time and endorsed by world-renowned OCD expert, Dr. Michael Jenike, Live OCD Free is an interactive application designed to guide users through the only evidence-based treatment, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. If you are struggling with OCD, ERP should be the foundation of your treatment program as research indicates it will significantly reduce symptoms for 80% who engage in this form of treatment. For more information on ERP, please consult the International OCD Foundation website at www.OCFoundation.org.
For adult users, this app will help create exercises to diminish OCD symptoms, set practice goals and rewards to increase motivation and consistency (the keys to success with ERP), provide a multitude of tools to help fight OCD at any given moment (including specific tools for checking compulsions and contamination fears), and allow users (and any professional they may be working with) to track and monitor their progress.
The children’s version, while having the same capabilities as the adult version, is game-like and engaging. Live OCD Free will guide child users through their battle with the Worry Wizard in an effort to reveal his true identity and, most importantly, conquer their OCD.
Live OCD Free includes both adult and child video tutorials as well as an extensive 30-page user’s guide with invaluable information that will enable users to utilize this program as an effective self-help tool or as an adjunct to therapy with a professional.
This program may be adapted for use with other OCD spectrum disorders including Body Dysmorphic Disorder, health-related OCD or Hypochondriasis, Tourette Syndrome or other tic disorders, as well as more general fears and phobias.
For additional support and guidance along the journey to living OCD Free, our newly launched Live OCD Free forum (accessible from our website, www.LiveOCDFree.com) provides ongoing support from OCD experts and other sufferers. Additionally, expert consultations and ongoing therapy may be provided to those who wish to work with a professional but do not have access to treatment with an OCD specialist in their area.

I can't believe I paid $30 dollars for this. When I was confused it asked me to read a 35 page manual...
This app has been so helpful to my 9 year old daughter who has suffered from OCD since she was three years old. It has been a great tool to help her rather putting her on medication (which most doctors seem to want to do). My daughter never wants to disappoint anyone and this app tends to be alot like "homework". If she has a "habit" start to take over, she will yell at the Worry Wizard and tell him to go away. She is so proud when she is able to beat him. She really likes knowing that her Dr gets to see her progress. This app has been a great way for her to get a handle on her OCD after years of extreme confusion and inability, with both herself and us, to overcome her obsessions. Thank you so much again for this creating this app and hopefully it will continue to help alot more people
Nicely Done App
This is a very neat and useful app. I have both OCD and Tourettes, but use the app to help treat my tourettes. I put in a custom list of the tics I wanted to work on and set reminders so I would not forget to practice so many times each day. This app is like having a person sitting next to you helping you not to tic, it provides the resources and motivates you to try your hardest. The best part is you can practice anywhere.
