Alright, but no documentation

I bought this program thinking it would be a great use of my new iPad and macbook combination for DIT work on set. I attempted to create a couple of test projects using my Mac Pro on my home network and got very little response. I double-checked my settings and files and everything seemed correct. Eventually with experimentation, I got a couple of clips to work. I contacted support 11 days ago and no response. There is also no external metadata editor for the server side. Any metadata editing must be done in the iPad. There is also no way to export the data into anything useful.

*UPDATE* I fInally reached someone through the email listed on the app page instead of the website. He was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. It seems best to send files through compressor instead of RedCine, which is what I was doing. Still feels like early software. I am waiting for version 2.

Great app!

I used this on my last shoot, and even though I only used it as video play back for the director and for the clients it was great, the director learnt the interface very quickly and even the clients were doing it them selves. I gave each one an iPad, and they were independent, they could watch and re-watch when they felt like it, make notes of which takes they liked, and I only had to show them once or twice how to do it.
I had it working with the Teradek wireless with my RED One.
It was a really great shoot.
Thanks Michael for making this app.

Glad I Got it! Just what I needed

Almost didn't get because of comment, but, I did, they responded quickly to my questions and it works just as advertised. I hope a future version will show timecode. The ability to stream from another computer is very expedient and allows me to keep working and others too at the same time. Easy to get up and running, I've had no issues whatsoever with iPad Mini and my I7 MBP. I love the fact that I don't have to duplicate media and sync keeping my space available on iPad.
