Overall very useful

It is effective if you honestly use it and pay attention to servings sizes.
Two reasons I knocked off one star: First is because when you scan a barcode it doesn't give you the option of selecting nutritional facts based on "as is" vs prepared. Also recently the calorie count has been a bit off on several items but there is no way to correct the info without entering the whole thing manually. If you prepare a meal you have to enter that info manually.
The second reason is because you can not edit how much water you drank should you make a mistake. It defaults to 8oz. One morning I tried to enter 16oz but forgot to delete the 8 first so it recorded 816oz. Other than those minor issues it is a wonderful app


I honestly love this app, it's easy to use, I'm not sure if it helps you really lose weight with the goals because I'm already active but I was eating anything and everything and not seeing much improvement. If you enter everything you eat honestly it makes you accountable for the choices you make which, hopefully, leads to better ones! It also lets you keep track of exercise which is also motivation to get to enter your workouts in! All in all I love it and it does just what it says, helps you track your calories :) just remember that calories are not all equal so 150 cal of salad and 150 cal or chips are not the same so go healthy when you can!

Good but costs to add features

Have the basic app and works quite easily to track calories and exercise. However, it will cost me money if I want to see how my exercise performance over time. Older version did this free. Scan of bar good is a great and easy feature. Also older version better for tracking exercise by time, not just by calories consumed. Also would be nice if it could track distances so you could like back and see how far you've gone. Alas not to be so at some point will find another app that will track both time and distances separately. So in retrospect probably more 3 rated than 4 but can't change the rating now.
