Not perfect but still pretty good
It covers everything I need for track my food and water and weight. Automatic updates for iPhone steps and calories burned often drop out and disappear but I’m not really too worried about that anyway. I can always manually enter calories burned when necessary. Library of food is great but not as diverse as some other providers, that may just be because this one is not as widely used. Oh, and when entering a new food, I learned the hard way, but when it says to enter carbs/protein/etc in grams, you actually have to enter it in MILLIgrams (i.e. 3 grams carbs must be entered as 3000) or else it doesn’t input correctly. But I’ve been using it for 3 months and have lost 53 lbs. I recommend it to everyone who talks to be about losing weight.
Love it but.....
I have absolutely loved this app. After years of not being able to lose any weight, I stumbled on this app. My life has been changed, I eat better, walk more and can still have room for sweets when I want. At 59, I now dropped 22 pounds and wear a 34 waist down about 5”. Here is the problem I have experienced recently. My walking calories are not registering which I really depend on. I had a problem with my iPhone 6+ when the tracking quit working. I got a replacement from Apple but was surprised to see that the walking calories still are not sinking up even though I have enabled it in the settings. Thank you for this powerful app!
Love and hate
I LOVE the lay out of this app. I love the bubbles you have to fill in every day, and it makes me want to make sure they are all competed by the end of the day. I feel like food tracking is so much work though. I have to make a lot of meals because I cook a lot, but you have to figure up an individual serving. That’s kind of crazy. I cook for 4, so I know how much I use for a whole meal, but to break it down to 1? No. Also, I wish you could select multiple foods at once for meals. I find I skip logging my food because it’s so time consuming, and when I’m at work, or out to eat, I don’t want to take 10 minutes to log 1 meal. I don’t want to go back to my fitness pal, because I love this lay out so much, but I’ve considered it specifically for the ease of logging food.
