Great

Love the sync with my desktop version! I have been using Logos since version 1.2 on floppy disks. It got real expensive (so I thought then) and tried a few other programs, PC Bible, Quickverse, E-Sword, Olivetree. E-Sword was a great PC resource but the material, though free, was out-dated and light on scholarship. In 2005 or so I switched back to Logos. I was in full time ministry and could afford (barely) Series X Scholars Edition. I was blown away. Logos was leaps and bounds ahead of all the other programs. LEAPS and BOUNDS, people! In 2013 I migrated to the Mac platform, and the transition was seamless. I use Logos daily in my studies. I have upgraded to 7, retained my Scholar's Library, added new volumes, and continue to add what I need. I have a physical library too of about 3,000 volumes, but my Logos library beats it hands down. When people ask me for a recommendation on a Bible program, I tell them E-Sword if they are PC users (again, it is free) and they only need a digital concordance. However, if they are doing serious study it will cost some money, but Logos is the only way to go. Yes, it costs money upfront--a good education always does--but the value is absolutely worth it. Every church should purchase Logos for their ministry staff, it is worth the investment because of the increase in knowledge, scholarship, and the streamlining of study gives ministers more time to engage people.

My favorite way t read the Bible

I have a MA in Theology from a Southern Baptist seminary, earned in 2000, so I have been using Logos in its various forms for many years. It has improved so much! Now, with this app, I am able to read Scripture with all the reference material built in, so that if I wonder what a word is in the original Hebrew or Greek, I need only select it and tap "look up" or "Biblical word study" to get all the information I could ever want or need! It has changed how I read the Bible. I love the way the company has married the newest in technology with the most ancient - but still the most relevant and important - text. Now none of us has any excuse for not delving into God's Word and allowing the truth therein remake us into His image (Rom. 12:2)!

What a treat to carry so much of the Word in my pocket at all times!

What an amazing body of work you are making available to the Father's family on the earth! One wish: when I copy and paste, that the reference comes with (book name, chapter name, page # and author). And one thing to note in the newer versions, if there's a Bible reference in a book with multiple verses, only the first verse shows up on the popup; in earlier versions you could scroll through the entire reference in the popup box. Even without that, the app is the BEST. I bless the anointed work of your hands. Thanks, Logos developers!!! You rock the entire world.
