Truly fantastic concept and delivery
I have been generally very disappointed in newsreader apps of recent years, both in terms of their design and content. Longform finally gives me a no-nonsense way to access real journalism, without having to visit each website or sift through Facebook/Reddit for my preferred sources. The app is easy to use, and the offline feature really seals the deal. This is now one of my indispensable phone features; I always have something to read! Thanks for making this.
Best reading/news app out there
While Flipbook, Zite, and Apple News are great apps for getting your quick ADHD news fix, I tend to prefer more in-depth journalism and stories that go deeper than just explaining the details of the headline. This is the best curated source of long-form journalism and storytelling out there. I have found so many incredible articles and short fiction pieces through this app that I would like to send the developers (and news curators) a virtual hug for making my life better!
Thanks for making this app
It's surprisingly hard to filter the daily onslaught of media coming daily through myriad sources. This is one of the few apps on my phone not buried in a folder. Best source for tuning the noise out of the signal to get to the good stuff - well reasoned, well written writing - and especially with the staff picks, I'm discovering so many great writers and stories -has brought me back to days when I'd actually read magazines. Thank you!
