Who ever said you can't go back?

LongStory, a charming and LGBTQ+ friendly dating sim set at the weirdly lovable Weasel Heights Middle School lets you pick your pronouns as well as who, or even if, you would like to date any of your romanceable friends.

On your first day of school you discover that the previous owner of your locker has “mysteriously” disappeared. Do you want to figure out what happened or are you too busy being a social butterfly and trying to avoid your enemies…

LongStory gives you a chance to find true love as a middle school student (yes with all the awkwardness that entails) but we promise it will be so much better this time around!

"I rarely write reviews but I just had to for this game because it is so cute. I really enjoy being able to date whatever gender. I can't wait for new episode releases!"

Absolutely Perfect!

I loved this game so much, it was totally worth my money... take it all! Just kidding. But in all honesty I loved having a game that I could relate to, and not only is that exciting but it's exciting to know that it's not only relatable to me but to so many other types of people as well. I started playing this when there were only a few episodes and you couldn't even pick pronouns or the character appearance and they were still working on that stuff, and it's great to see how far they came. I love it, and the fact that they go over non-binary issues, racism, sexism, and LGBTQ+ among many others and they execute it so well with the characters. It warms my heart to know there are people out there that believe what I do, that everyone is entitled to respect and rights as a human being. Being an African American Gay Male it's great to find a game that relates to me. I loved the online friend dynamic as well, although I've never met mine irl I have an online friend and we are almost the same way with each other; as Nora and [the player] are. Thank you so much for this experience, it was great and well worth the ride and totally not staying up past midnight to go through the game and write a review... <3 this was an amazing game. I can not thank you enough, you've made my night and the rest of my days ^^ (review #2 cause I messed up #1 T^T)

Don't believe the negative reviews

Other reviews claiming this game is "too political" aren't taking into account the fact that a) this game is aimed at middle and high school-aged players, who need more media that engages with them on their level in an approachable way about current affairs so they can stay informed and involved and b) the creator of the game gave a statement before the mini-episode that automatically starts the game, saying they wanted to create a special mini-episode to help people (youth in particular) deal with a post-election America. That subject matter cannot be apolitical, by definition, and if urging people to care and be involved is preachy, then I don't know what to tell you.

Aside from that, the representation in this game is great. None of the characters feel like a token, and the developers really made a gender- and culturally-inclusive game. Representation matters, and it's important that young people see people like them in our media so they know that they matter.

So download the game. At least get past the protest-themed mini-episode and into the main game before writing it off. Gift it to a young person in your life. We need more inclusivity the game industry, and it's important we support the studios that are seeking to create change.

Amazing!

This is literally the best fricking game in the App Store. Being bi myself, I felt like this app gave me so many options! The only problems I DID have is that one, if I bought episode 2 and others, and I'm thinking about just buying all of them, I wish you could buy a bundle of the packs, and it wouldn't charge you for the ones you already purchased??? Secondly, The new special chapter with "President Lump" was great because it was FREE, but it made me a little uncomfortable because I know there are probably some people who supported "Lump" (I know this is a ripoff of Trump) I understand no one has the exact same views, so I won't share my opinion... but I would like y'all to know, I think it's showing that the company is very one sided on political-ness (lol not a word) I'm not saying I agree or disagree; I just don't want political issues to take over this LGBTQ+ game. Once again, this is my favorite game in existence! -A random bisexual reviewer
