Ratings and Reviews
Sort of good as a reference probably?
I was looking for an app that would improve upon Google Maps' navigation, which has been getting me to my connections 5-10 minutes before or after they come on a pretty consistent basis. This thing's trip planner is fast, offline, and easy to read... But it doesn't tell you when your buses come. It just tells you how often they run and how long your trip will take once you've gotten on your bus. This seems like a kind of unbelievable oversight if the goal was to build a navigation app, but I suppose it might have been intended as a reference and nothing more. Not worthless, just not what I was looking for.
No wifi? No problem
I have this LA metro app on my iPod so it's the only one I can use on the train (because it's not a phone, no network..). It's a good idea to have a map you can use without internet and a good alternative for those of us who can't always be connected (and have to use public transport!)
Los Angeles's Metro system is not what people know LA for. But in many, many cases it's faster than taking a car or Uber (and if you want an Uber, you can get Uber from ths app too!) and shouldn't be ignored.
Perhaps if we have Calexit this metro will get expanded even more?
