What's New in Version 5.2.2
This updates includes the addition of ‘Recommended for You’ to the My Day screen of our iPad users, our latest food database with thousands of new entries, updated application icons, and a few bug fixes.
EXCELLENT! But one thing..
With this app, I can perfectly count the calories I eat every day. Even when cooking at home, every ingredient is in the database. It works just as well for execises.
Just one tiny detail that bothers me...
The percentage of Fats and Carbs should be split.
Fats are divided into Saturated and Unsaturated, the Saturated being worse. I know take notice of this when I look in the food I eat beforehand, but it becomes untrackeable since it all goes into the same category. If Iconsume 20g of fat in a day, how much is which?
Carbs are divided into other carbs and sugar, but that's not as important if you don't have to watch for sugsr that much. It's enough with knowing you didn't eat too much sugar beforehand. Fiber, however, should be substracted. If I eat a Fiber One brownie, which contains 5g of fiber, they will count towards the total carbohydrates. The problem is that the body does not digest fiber, rather, fiber passes right through and improves digestion. If not substracted, then at least divided.
Tiny details, so I still give it five stars. It doesn't deserve less.
Very Helpful Tool
I started using this app 6/1/14. At first I think the biggest help was looking back at all the stats and able to see what I was doing right and wrong. I am an Atkins eater and at first thought this was not the app for me but soon found out differently. The nutrition part is the best. Lots of low carb eaters just like me are using this great app too!!
