Lose it w/premium account

I have used this app with and without the premium membership. The best function of this app is free which allows you to record food intake and exercise. I would have to say that they have a large database including just about any food or exercise you need. If I could change anything about the exercise, it would be to change the time increments from 5 min to 1 min. Sometimes our workouts aren't in five increment intervals. I don't know about everyone else, but there aren't very many groups to join. When joining a group and posting a comment, there's no way to tell if someone has replied to your comment until you go back into the post and search for your comment and open it up. That could be improved. I'm not seeing a huge benefit to having ouch asked the premium membership over the free one. Nonetheless, I am using the app and it is effective at allowing me to ration my calories and exercise, and this time around, I've already lost 5lbs my first week. I'm hoping to stay motivated and lose about 30-35 more pounds!

3rd times the charm

I love how this app lets me know the balance of calories I have left after exercising, as well as letting me adjust my calorie target level. I have used this app twice in the past 10 years to lose weight- the first time 45 pounds, the second 80 pounds. I know about how many calories I need to be below in a week in order to lose weight, and this app lets me know how many below I am for the week. It averages out over the week, so if I make poor choices a day or two I can usually get "caught up" by exercising more or eating less or both. Eating is my down fall! When I think I know what and how much to eat and stop logging in I eventually slip back. Well this time I need to lose almost 100, but I know it's possible as long as I record what I eat, budget my calories and do my exercise.

Love it!

Just started using such an app that would allow me to log my meals and snacks and my exercises and I love Lose It! I compared some other similar apps and found this one to be very user friendly. The ads aren't all over the place. It's very simple to just add a meal by scanning or searching or just creating your own recipe. Love the little food icons next to it. Same goes for exercise. Also love that it gives you a time for when you'd expect to reach your goal and love all the challenges you can join. It makes it even more motivating to know that other people are trying to reach their goals too! Definitely will continue to use!
